Music is one of God's great gifts to us! And paraphrasing Psalm 150: 1-6, we encourage our students to, “Praise the Lord...praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet. Praise Him with the harp and lyre. Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing. Praise Him with the strings and flute. Praise Him with the clash of cymbals. Praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.”

Daily, this is what we strive to do in each of our music classrooms here at Byron Center Christian School. We are eager to bring God our Creator our joyful praise with both skill and excellence. Soli Deo Gloria! To God alone be the glory!

BAND

Practice records are due, weekly, on Thursdays during band time.  Students should practice a minimum of 45 minutes per week to reach the requirement for band.

Private lessons are a great way of encouraging your band student.  Please consider some lessons for your student.   Please contact Mr. Rozema or by calling him at 878-3347 ext. 212 if you are having trouble contacting a private teacher.  Most lessons are occurring in the multi-purpose room or reading lab after school.
