Through The With Faith Campaign, we hope to both expand our West Campus and renovate the existing classroom spaces. The campus has been a pillar in the BCCS community for generations and our plan will ensure it remains that way for generations to come. The addition and renovations will also highlight our excellent programs and provide our students and staff with the highest quality facilities to match.

Addition and Restoration

God is working in extraordinary ways at Byron Center Christian School! Over the last four years, BCCS has grown from just over 500 students to an enrollment of over 675. More specifically, our preschool program has expanded from roughly 70 students to 138 in that time. We have also retained an average of 70% of those students since 2012. As these students graduate from preschool, we have seen increased numbers in both junior kindergarten and kindergarten.

Our early education programs are excellent, thriving, and attracting more students. Those students are also staying at BCCS, allowing us to consistently maintain three sections per grade. Currently, the West Campus is at full capacity, and we will not have spaces for those students as three-section classes make their way through the grades. We also plan to address facility needs at the East Campus by upgrading spaces and infrastructure. Our gym and music spaces are in need of upgrades and we hope to renovate storage space for future STEM and outdoor learning programming.

In order to continue and expand the Kingdom work of BCCS, we plan to both add a preschool addition designed to meet the unique needs of young learners and restore the existing spaces at the West Campus!

Goal

This project would be completed in seven months, with the additional construction starting first and the renovation completed over the summer months. Once completed, 1st and 2nd grades would relocate back to the West Campus. There would be wings for preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary. This would then create additional classroom space at the East Campus for our continued growth. After examining many alternatives, this provides the best possible solution so our students and staff have the facility spaces they need while best utilizing the generous support of our community.

In order to accomplish this goal, we need your help! We hope to raise 10 million dollars in the next 12 months! God has provided for this school for 105 years and we trust He will continue as we seek to honor Him.
