5/6th Grade Teacher
Byron Center Christian School is seeking a teacher to join our 5th/6th-grade team of educators. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about helping students grow in both their faith and their learning. The candidate must have a desire to design learning so students can see God’s story and live God’s story, shaping individuals and the entire school community. The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian who enthusiastically supports BCCS’s purpose and mission. Teachers at BCCS work within a team as part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC). The candidate will also use the Teaching for Transformation (TfT) framework to connect faith and learning. TfT and PLC training and support will be provided. While the above qualifications are important, we encourage anyone who feels called by God to impact students through learning to apply. A valid teaching certificate is required.
