Art

God is God of all creation and is the ultimate artist. In art, the Christian school student is taught to look at nature and recognize it as God's artwork. God speaks to us through His creation. If we listen, we will hear that He created line, texture, shape, form, space, value, and color. All of these elements are taught in art class as tools the students can use in their own artwork. Therefore, art is an expression or response of praise to God and His creation. Everyone is given the gift of creativity and through art can develop that creativity according to their ability.  Students in Kindergarten-4th grade participate in art at BCCS with Mrs. Bergsma and 5th-8th will have Mrs. Bruinsma.
